Worship Christmas 2009 runs with great fanfare, begins with music offerings from Petra music team who have done the exercise a few weeks earlier. The event continued with the praise of the Petra church choir.
In the praise and worship session led by the Worship leader, Toandy Gosti, the church looks energetic praise and worship God.
Irwan Alexander who had a family of Petra Makassar congregation also sang some hymns, followed by the word of God is sung by Petra church pastor, the Rev.. Well Paul Yedid.
In his sermon, the pastor delivering the core of the book of Psalm 23, where as children of God we should be proud because we have God's promises even in the valley of the shadow of death, but the promise of God is still yes and amen.
After fiman God delivered, as usual it was time to light candles, to the accompaniment of the song "Oh holy night", the church with solemn candlelight vigil together.
